The workshop is designed to shed light on the recent events leading to the significant migration of Haitians and their subsequent integration into the community through education. The program aims to foster a deeper understanding of the Haitian experience. It also highlights the crucial role of education as a means of empowerment and adaptation for the Haitian diaspora, showcasing how the college's diverse course offerings are tailored to meet the needs of these new community members. This workshop not only educates participants about the factors driving mass migration but also celebrates the resilience and contributions of Haitian immigrants to the fabric of CE and beyond.
