Disability Support Programs and Services

Program Description

The Disability Support Programs and Services mission is to offer services and instructional programs designed to facilitate the success of students with disabilities in reaching their educational, personal and vocational goals. DSPS offers individualized and adaptive special classes that are suited to student’s with special needs.

Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)

  • Students will manage the positive and negative forces in their lives to persist in class as they pursue lifelong learning.
  • Students will establish a goal and make progress toward that goal.
  • Students will make progress toward mastering skills addressed in class.
  • Students will use self advocacy skills to cope with changing situations in their lives.
