Dear Colleagues,
Yesterday afternoon our ECC campus experienced a power outage. The campus team and administrators were able to determine quickly that operations should be transitioned to remote work for the remainder of the work day and class schedules.
I appreciate the leadership of Anthony Vargas and Carmen Martinez who coordinated to check various spaces at ECC, including offices and classrooms, to ensure safety, and also to determine the power outage impact on both employees and students. It was nice to see the team working together, and supporting one another.
Thank you for being agile and willing to react quickly to determine solutions for unpredictable challenges. As a result, campus and administrative operations continued with minimal interruption. I appreciate you.
