A Mature Workforce Committee has been developed in collaboration with San Diego County Aging and Independent Services, San Diego Workforce Partnership, and other community partners. The committee strives to further the interest of mature workers by promoting a link between employers, recruiters, and educators. It also seeks to expose older adults to available educational resources and services that are necessary to re-enter or stay competitive in today's workforce. The committee recently produced the first 50+ Learning Forum in San Diego, which now serves as a national model. More than 200 people attended the forum.
