Isaac Masicampo enrolled in San Diego College of Continuing Education after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric from the University of California Berkeley. “My mother was the first of her family to attend college, and she ingrained in me from an early age that I had to work hard and go to college too,” he said. Following UC Berkeley and a career in early childhood education, Isaac took a special interest in SDCCE’s Digital Media Program to learn print, video, animation, and web design. “I saw it as an opportunity for a fresh start, to go back to school, and finally study something I was passionate about. SDCCE opened my eyes to the world of digital design.” Isaac completed SDCCE’s Interactive Multimedia and Front-End Web Development certificate programs, designed SDCCE’s 2018 Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade t-shirts, and now runs a graphic and web design business.
