Open House in Point Loma January 25

January 23, 2020

On Saturday, January 25, 2020 San Diego Continuing Education (SDCE) will host a public open house for the Point Loma community and its surrounding neighbors. The free event is scheduled from 10:00am to 2:00pm at SDCE’s West City Campus (3249 Fordham St, San Diego, CA 92110).

Prospective students and their families are invited to experience SDCE’s free high-quality career training programs including Child Development, and Culinary Arts through interactive exhibit booths. Additional free courses include High School Diploma/Equivalency, and Emeritus for adults age 55+.

Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the campus, enroll in classes, and shop the fashion department’s fabric sale. SDCE’s Associated Student Body members will host a creative reuse, fabric and craft supply store onsite to prepare future students for the Clothing Construction and Sewn Products Business certificate programs.

SDCE was named Entrepreneurial College of the Year by the National Association of Community College Entrepreneurship in 2019. SDCE is part of the award-winning San Diego Community College District (SDCCD). Many students achieve a high school diploma and/or career training certificate at SDCE and then transition to a SDCCD college, City, Mesa or Miramar.

SDCE’s spring semester begins Monday, Jan. 27, 2020.
