This will be a hybrid Zoom and Miramar campus event recognizing Lunar New Year as the major cultural holiday celebrated across East Asia and Asian American communities in the United States. The 55-minute Zoom presentation will highlight Lunar New Year traditions celebrated by the Chinese American, Vietnamese American, and Korean American communities and will include a virtual walking tour of San Diego's Asian Pacific Historic District. For those on the Miramar College campus, the Zoom will be followed by a Korean game demonstration and holiday snacks.
If you only attend the Zoom, you will only receive an hour of credit.
