Sewn Product Construction 2

This course advances the basic sewist to an intermediate skill level. Intermediate skills developed include sewing products with multiple pattern pieces, sewing and matching patterned textiles, complex seams and finishes, sewing plackets, collars, and sleeves, and understanding various interfacings. Skills are taught using project based learning principles with hands-on experiences evidenced by completed projects and a skills portfolio emphasizing product quality and sustainable practices. (FT)
