ESL Online Registration - New Students

Welcome to our program! Please make an appointment to register for English classes.

For your appointment:

  1. Plan to be online for an hour.
  2. Be ready to show an official picture ID (passport, driver license, etc.)
  3. Have paper and pencil ready to take notes.
  4. New students need to complete an application at https://sdcce.edu/services/registration-enrollment

Please complete the application before your appointment if you can. If you need assistance, it’s OK! We’ll assist at your appointment.

If there are no dates available for online registration, please attend an in-person registration session at one of our campuses.

Eligibility

If you are 18 or older and a resident of California, you may attend classes. If you are under 18 and a high school graduate, married, or in the military, and a resident of California, you may also attend. Contact Student Services if you have questions about attending classes, SDCEStudentServices@sdccd.edu. Regulations set by USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) prohibit individuals in the U.S. with an F-1, B-1 or B-2 (visitor) visa, or with a border crossing card from attending Continuing Education classes.
