ESL Online Registration - New Students

Welcome to our program! Please make an appointment to register for English classes.

Online classes are available from level two through seven. Level one is not offered online.

For your appointment:

  1. Plan to be online for about 90 minutes.
  2. Be ready to show an official picture ID (passport, driver license, etc.)
  3. Have paper and pencil ready to take notes.
  4. New students need to complete an application at https://sdcce.edu/services/registration-enrollment

Please complete the application before your appointment if you can. If you need assistance, it’s OK! We’ll assist at your appointment.

Notice: The ESL Placement Offices will be closed from September 30th through October 11th.

If there are no dates available for online registration, please attend an in-person registration session at one of our campuses.

Eligibility

If you are 18 or older and a resident of California, you may attend classes. If you are under 18 and a high school graduate, married, or in the military, and a resident of California, you may also attend.
