BlueForge Alliance Partner Feature SDCCE: Training Our Future

Back in October 2023, SDCCE secured $1.175 million in funds from BlueForge Alliance to double the size of our welding lab at the Educational Cultural Complex as part of a comprehensive effort addressing a shortage of skilled welders. Plans for expansion are in progress. Facilitated through its work with the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Industrial Base. SDCCE is expanding its welding program on multiple fronts, including new welding booths, upgraded ventilation and electrical, and new faculty members. I am happy to report SDCCE's welding program is the workforce partner feature for BlueForge Alliance.
