This workshop will explain the basics of the Student Centered Funding Formula (SCFF), including metrics, calculations, hold harmless, and legislative changes. We will discuss the statewide and SDCCD structure, and how we are doing.
Audience: Classified Staff and Faculty
Learning Outcomes:
1. Attendees will build a basic understanding of the SCFF process, how the metrics work, and the SDCCD position now and going forward.
2. Attendees will learn about how the District can maximize SCFF funding.
3. Attendees will reflect on the ways in which their daily work impacts the SCFF metrics and consider how they can play an active role in ensuring the quality and validity of our funding in more conscious ways.
