What is SAM?
SAM tests live-in-the-application for Microsoft Word 2002 and Microsoft Excel 2002, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
All Microsoft Office application commands are available as SAM presents the student with tasks to be performed in actual documents. In addition, SAM maps to all of Microsoft Office 2002 textbooks recommended by the teacher. The student will be able to print a study guide for each exam taken that shows what to review and provides a page reference in the textbook to find the information.
SAM evaluates software skills by watching the completion of tasks live within Microsoft Office 2002, using any method allowed by the application.
SAM automatically generates reports that calculate and interpret exam results. Instructor reports display overall class scores and detailed information about performance.
