METAL FABRICATION I

This is an open-entry/exit course that is designed to teach skills required for entry-level employment in the metal fabrication trade. Students will learn how to interpret prints, use measuring tools, use shop equipment, layout, oxy-fuel and plasma cutting, and fitting metal using hydraulic, pneumatic and hand tools with precision. Students successfully completing this course will be prepared for entry-level positions in metal fabrication. (FT)
