In honor of Filipino American History, the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Anti-Racism Committees at the SDCCE, District Office, City and Miramar Colleges are proud to host a free virtual film screening of Delano Manongs - Forgotten Heroes of the United Farm Workers by Emmy Award Winning Filmmaker, Marissa Aroy. This film has been shown across the United States and will be screened, followed by her presentation. The film includes the story of the Delano Grape Strike and Filipino Labor Leader, Larry Itliong.

October 25th has been declared "Larry Itliong Day" by Governor Newsom. Celebrate his birthday and commemorate Filipino American History Month!
