Juneteenth Celebration

Join the San Diego College of Continuing Education in celebrating Juneteenth. Lunch will be provided by Felix’s BBQ with Soul.

Featuring

  • Music by Buki Domingos & DSOUL. Buki is a versatile singer/songwriter, activist, and motivational speaker. She will inspire us with Songs of Freedom
  • Storytelling by Dajahn Blevins. Dajahn is the creator and CEO of San Diego Urban Warriors, which began in 1986 as a tool for youth, family, and community empowerment.
  • Poetry by Kelsey Daniels. Kelsey is an artist organizer and baddie scholar from Southeast San Diego. Their work centers on storytelling, world-building, and dreamwork as tools for liberation
  • Master of Ceremony Jonzi Jones. Jonzi is Mr. Black Culture Art & Talent San Diego 2024. His mission statement is "To move with purpose. On purpose"
