Theatrical performance of Jazzetry by Calvin Manson, Founder and Director of the Ira Aldridge for a dynamic fusion of jazz music and poetry, combining rhythm, improvisation, and storytelling to capture the essence of Juneteenth and the Black experience.

Musical guest Brittany Taylor is a San Diego native, singer, songwriter & performer. She has been singing since she was a kid and credits her sound to Gospel, R&B, Neo-Soul, Jazz & Funk influences.

Drumcall by Dramane Kone, traditional West African music passed down through generations of his ancestors. Dramane Kone is a Griot from the famous Kone family of Burkina Faso and Mali, West Africa.
