SDCCE is celebrating National Coming Out Day with an afternoon filled with refreshments, inspiring guest speakers, and an engaging audience Q&A. A guest panel of students, faculty, and staff will share their personal journeys of coming out, offering insights and support to all who attend. Lunch will be provided.
A brief history of National Coming Out Day: First observed in 1988, this day celebrates the power of visibility for the LGBTQ+ community. It honors the bravery of those who live authentically and raises awareness about the importance of acceptance and equality. This event is a chance to foster understanding, build community, and celebrate the progress we've made together.
We look forward to seeing you there!
