The District Office Professional Development Department is happy to present Compassion It Training. Compassion It is a group of Stanford University-trained compassion facilitators who will instruct participants in the benefits and practice of mindfulness meditation.
Mindfulness meditation helps promote self-compassion and resiliency, stress management, compassion for others, and intrinsic bias reduction. Creating a more compassionate workplace helps improve workplace cultures and enhances individual classified professional engagement and resilience.
