High School/GED Preparation

Program Description

High School/GED Preparation introduces and reviews basic skills at three levels in reading, writing, math, spelling, vocabulary, communication and critical thinking needed to function in society.

Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)

  • HS/ASE/ABE students will demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge of a course objective by applying it to a current event/issue.
  • HS/ASE/ABE students will formulate a goal, set-up a plan of action, and evaluate success.
  • HS/ASE/ABE students will describe how they would integrate a course principle into a real life situation.
