2017 AEBG March Newsletter

SDAERC’s Data and Accountability Plan, linked to the one-time funding meant to assist with setting up an infrastructure to track outcomes, was sent forward and received state approval on February 21, 2017. The preliminary allocation schedule was released just this week specifying a match to 16-17: for the fiscal year of 17-18, the San Diego Adult Education Regional Consortium’s projected allocation is $4,445,071. Additionally to our great pleasure, the AEBG State Office has already designated funding for the 18-19 cycle equaling another $4,445,071. These dollar amounts will serve both Unified K-12 adult school and SDCE.

The Super Region consisting of San Diego and Imperial Counties Consortia are sponsoring a Regional Partners Meeting at Poway Unified School District on March 14 to create a San Diego Adult Education Administrators Roundtable.

On a local level, our San Diego Adult Education Regional Consortium will have our next public meeting on March 22, 17  from 3-4 pm at ECC’s President’s Conference Room. All are welcome to attend.
