SDAERC will interview this month for a new SDAERC Director to replace Dr. Kay Faulconer Boger. The next SDAERC public meeting will be May 16, 2018 at ECC from 12:30-1:45 p.m. In the meantime the SDAERC Seamless Transitions work group has met twice.
Realizing the need for common vocabulary when discussing transitions, the SDAERC Seamless Transitions work group (consisting of San Diego Unified and SDCE faculty and administrator) agreed upon the following list of population names, potential transitions and established efforts that currently assist transitions. The SDAERC Seamless Transitions committee will compile a timeline of SDUSD and SDCE transition efforts such as orientations, fairs, counselor trainings, etc. to determine points of student contact for data collection/exchange as well as to leverage professional development and collaboration on events. The next SDAERC Seamless Transitions work group will be April 19, 2018 at ECC from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Room C-109. All are welcome to attend.
