In an effort to involve partners in the local planning for the seven different consortia within San Diego and Imperial Counties, a regional community partners meeting will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017, 12:30-3 p.m. at the Poway Unified School District Community Room. Discussions will surround adult education needs, leveraging existing structures and coordinating more effectively as regional providers of adult education services. Rachel Rose, SDAERC Board Member, has teamed with Suzanne Sebring from Palomar Unified School District to present the invited community members with an overview of the Adult Education Block Grant planning process.
With the support of SDCCD Vice Chancellor Lynn Nault, the SDCE registration process is on target to be modified to create fields in PeopleSoft that will allow for streamlined collection of student data in an effort to ease faculty workload in the data gathering requirements outlined for Adult Education Block Grant recipients.
