From a place of inclusion and collaboration, SDCE’s AEBG Faculty Coordinator, Rachel Rose, and VPI, Kate Alder have taken on a massive task of disseminating information regarding the Adult Education Block Grant as well as collect valuable information from faculty, counselors and staff by offering 6 information sessions, one at each campus in May and June. In response to the Super Region’s joint efforts to request realistic expectations from the State regarding AEBG data reporting requirements, Neil Kelly, Sacramento’s AEBG State Coordinator, will address San Diego's concerns in person at the May 23rd Super Region Meeting that will be held at Mira Costa College. Clarity will be provided on policies, regulations and fiscal responsibilities.
