AEBG Update Feb 2017

SDCE hosted the first San Diego Adult Education Regional Consortium Public Meeting of 2017 on February 15th from 4-5 p.m. where the Data and Accountability Plan was submitted for Board approval.  In the plan, both Unified and SDCE were required to create a process, structure, and framework to collect and export all data points from the TopsPro Enterprise intake as well as update forms for learners touched by AEBG funds.

The SDCE Adult Education Block Grant committee considered the need for additional faculty input and collaborative work to adequately inform the Data and Accountability Plan, therefore the plan outlines the establishment of compensated working groups comprised of faculty and other stakeholders to develop an efficient, comprehensive data collection plan that will fulfill the State’s requirements in a streamlined process that minimizes workload for faculty, classified, and administrators.
