BSILI develops leaders in California community colleges who have the capacity to facilitate networks of faculty, staff, and students for curricular and institutional redesigns in support of increased student access, success, equity, and completion.

Rising to Success Student Equity Center submitted a proposal to 3csn (California Community Colleges’ Success Network) Leadership for Curricular and Institutional Transformation. The SDCE presentation began with a narrative for change surrounding integrated student support services and how SDCE navigates noncredit SSSP, SEP, and initiatives of change from the development and implementation to assessment and evaluation. The five-day institute moved through the change project and helped the SDCE team (Denise Munoz; Roberta Krauss; Cassondra Caesar; and Maureen Rubalcaba) plan, integrate and review through an equity lens, evaluate planning and continue team planning. 3csn will continue to work with the team and check-in throughout the year.
