The 2015/16 academic year for the Business, Information Technology and Digital Media Program was filled with faculty collaboration; acquisition of mini-grants and one time funding for curriculum development; professional development, and new quipment all leading toward greater student success.
We started the academic year with a vision for continued program revitalization, the implementation of new certificate programs, and program expansion at new Cesar E. Chavez campus with the leadership from faculty as follows:
Accelerated Office Skills program pilot under the leadership of faculty co-chair Pete Miles
Project Management program under the leadership of Dave Almos
CISCO under the leadership of Don Aragon
Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management program under the leadership of Matthew Rivaldi
We continue to plan for another year of curriculum development with a focus on the expansion of our industry advisory committees along with long-term planning initiatives. Contact Dean Fischthal if you are interested in being involved!
