After the event, Jerry turned into a media sensation. As Jerry is legally blind, Caron took her around for the next three days to interviews CNN Live, NBC Nightly News, the View, New York Times and the BBC. Caron also worked closely with a USA Today reporter to produce the final story on Jerry’s reaction after Hillary accepted the nomination, and Caron provided a photo of Jerry for the article.

Since Caron has returned to San Diego, she had been approached by the History Channel to include Jerry in a documentary. CNN visited Jerry in her Arizona home last week to interview her for a follow-up story, which will air before the November election, and newspaper reporters from Australia, England, and Japan have made appointments to visit her between now and election day.
