Greg Collon, a High School Equivalency student at Mid-City Campus, painted a picture for his instructor, Amma Knott.
Greg gifted the painting to Mrs. Knott in appreciation of her assisting him in reaching a long-time educational goal. He titled the painting “To A New Day and A New Dream.”
On the back of the painting Greg wrote, “Thank you for all the endless encouragement, support and help that made it possible for me to finally accomplish a long time goal.”
In a separate statement Greg said that Mrs. Knott’s lessons were well planned, helpful and relevant for the preparation of the HiSET test.
"I can’t thank Mrs. Knott or San Diego Continuing Education enough for helping me accomplish my HiSET and a achieving a 20 plus year goal of mine."
