New DSPS Counselor Lindsay Cohen

DSPS has a new contract counselor, Lindsay Cohen.  Lindsay started  her career at Mesa College where she worked as a DSPS adjunct counselor with the deaf and hard of hearing students for seven years. While at Mesa, Lindsay also taught Personal Growth and American Sign Language classes. Lindsay then accepted a position at the District Office as the Interpreting Services Lead Technician, working with the deaf and hard of hearing students, American Sign Language interpreters and  speech-to-text captioners for five years. Lindsay’s office will be located at ECC in room 124, but she will be able to travel to meet deaf and hard of hearing students at the campus of their choice. She is scheduled to start her contract on August 29, 2018.
