AEBG Newsletter Update

SDCE has been working to get our MIS data merged with TopsPro Enterprise (TE) for the purposes of the October 31 Quarter 1 AEBG Data Report. Thanks to a district CVS file and ESL’s Chao Xiong, a TE database administrator whose salary is not funded through AEBG, CASA received data on 16k of our students for AEBG reporting purposes. The data SDCE imported was missing the AEBG Program designations therefore only 8k of those 16k student records were included in the Quarter 1 AEBG DIR Report. SDCE has requested Technical Assistance to show a full head count in the Quarter 2 AEBG Report.
Kay Boger, San Diego Adult Education Regional Consortium Director, as of November 8 will be employed as the SDCE Interim Vice President of Instruction. The SDAERC Board will determine the action needed to continue the forward movement of the Consortium in her absence. San Diego Adult Education Regional Consortium will have their next public meeting at ECC on Thursday, November 30 from 2:30-4pm. All are welcome.
