One Book One San Diego 2018

Overview: KPBS’ One Book, One San Diego is a much-beloved engagement initiative that encourages everyone in the region to read and discuss the same book. A partnership between KPBS and a collaboration of other community organizations, the 12-year-old program has touched thousands of lives. This is because One Book is structured so that it literally appeals to everyone. Participants come from all walks of life--- from San Diego natives to new arrivals, senior citizens to elementary school children, high-income executives to low-income families. One Book has three companion programs: One Book for Kids, One Book for Teens and One Book Sin Fronteras in order reach the broadest possible audience.

Mission: to bring San Diegans together through an enriching, locally relevant literary experience.
