Thank you to the 100 plus faculty who participated in SDCE’s first annual Faculty Appreciation BBQ at ECC. We enjoyed live entertainment from the San Diego Wednesday Night Jazz Band (also SDCE students), fantastic food, and delightful company. Special thanks to Academic Senate President Richard Weinroth, for promoting the event as well as his kind remarks. I also want to recognize the Instructor Beth Hayes for the terrific work she has done with our AO music program. The invaluable contributions of Kim Laramie, Dean Leslie Quinones, and SDCE’s Facilities Team also warrant recognition and my heartfelt appreciation. Thank you for offering me such a warm welcome over the past 9 months. I hope you realize how much I value you and appreciate your commitment to our students and institution. More photos to come . . .
