Brad Anderson

In August of 2015, Brad accepted the position of Registrar for Continuing Education at North City Campus. For three previous years, he held the position of Program Manager for Whittier Law School’s Bar Success and Academic Support Department in Costa Mesa/Orange County. Currently, Brad handles all registrar duties including transcript creation and production; enrollment/attendance verification, and provides a wide range of student services including direct support to the joint High School Diploma Program. In Brad's spare time, he is a fixed gear cyclist, an avid music collector and follower of European football.

 

Kelly Henwood

Kelly will be provide consultation services in the area of workforce development strategies including writing a grant proposal for SDCE to serve 16-24 year olds with career pathways services. The aim is to build a framework for SDCE to more closely align with local, state and national workforce investment system priorities as well as those of the state and local community college system. During her work with SDCE she will be meeting with key personnel to gather information regarding opportunities and current programming related to workforce and career pathways and will assist to identify key stakeholders and opportunities to connect programs, partnerships, and systems to SDCCD Continuing Education’s workforce programming. Her work will provide recommendations for strategies and implementation tactics in order for Continuing Education to provide high quality, outcomes oriented youth workforce programming based on a career pathways approach for out of school youth aged 16-24.

Kelly brings over 20 years experience in nonprofit organizations in San Diego, Southern Nevada and Oregon. She has a proven track record of building programs, departments, and systems including growing funding resources. Her background includes cross-system public partnerships focused on underserved youth including youth in the juvenile justice and foster care systems. Kelly has directed the youth departments for workforce boards in San Diego and Southern Nevada, and the youth reentry programming at Second Chance in Encanto. Kelly has a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of San Diego's School of Leadership and Education Studies (SOLES) and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Oregon.
