"While teaching is my passion, my recent work has been focused on helping teachers to be successful and helping students to navigate the educational system. I feel like being here at SDCE and working with the San Diego Adult Education Regional Consortium is like coming home. I take SDCE classes in the arts and have worked with so many staff who have inspired me during various stages of my career (Gretchen Bitterlin, Laurie Cozzolino, Donna Price Machado, Sylvia Swenson, Deb Jemmott, Robin Carvajal, Lorie Howell, Ingrid Greenberg, Pat Mosteller, Leslie Shimazaki to name a few) that now it’s my chance to give back! Thanks to everyone for being so welcoming."
