This February, SDCCE joined folks from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office team and other noncredit practitioners to discuss how the California community college system will support noncredit through Vision 2030. I am proud of the great work that SDCCE does, especially the contributions to the noncredit field as a whole. Way to go Dr. Shakerra Carter, Jesus Rivas, and Juan Salcedo for leading the Student Services Workgroup and supporting with the metrics definitions. My favorite part of it all is the work that will come from the noncredit to credit alignment pathways!

The Research Corner

This week we invite you to check the Opportunities for Apprenticeships in San Diego & Imperial Counties report from our partners at the Centers of Excellence for Labor Market Research. This report looks at the apprenticeship environment in the area, colleges strategies to develop more apprenticeship programs, and the industries and occupations that colleges should look at when thinking about apprenticeship programs. Take a minute to review this resource and email if you have any questions.

President's Office Hours
