Dear SDCCE Community,
March marks the celebration of Women's History Month. For 109 years, SDCCE has advanced the professional, academic, and personal goals of women through tuition-free workforce training, classes, and grants and resources that combat gender inequity. We proudly recognize the vibrant cultures, traditions, and wealth of knowledge our women administrators, faculty, classified professionals, and students bring to our campuses and our community.
Please join me at two wonderful Women's History Month events at SDCCE. On Thursday, March 16 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. ECC Will host "Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories" a panel with local female leaders followed by a light reception. On Thursday, March 23 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. West City Campus will host "Under the Radar" a Women’s surfing panel and museum exhibition originating with the Surfing Heritage & Cultural Center featuring SDCCE Counselor, Lisa Carulli.
