Dear SDCCE Community,

I am excited to announce Michael Escalona has joined San Diego College of Continuing Education as the new Administrative Assistant V in the Office of the President. Escalona is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada and moved to San Diego in 2008. After graduating from Rancho Bernardo High School, he attended the SDCCD colleges and then transferred and graduated Cum Laude from the University of California San Diego (UCSD). He earned a bachelors degree in Sociology and Economics from UCSD, focused on social dynamics of the economy and businesses as well as child social development.

Escalona comes to the SDCCE with a wealth of knowledge and experience as he was the department manager for Mercedes Benz of San Diego. His skills of supporting and being a liaison for multiple corporate organizational departments and first-hand knowledge of customer service, client experience and program development transfers perfectly. He is excited to be part of our team and we look forward to Escalona bringing his skills and talents to the President’s Office and SDCCE!

Fun Fact: Michael has freelanced work in photography and videography and as a music teacher over the years. When the time permits, please give Mr. Michael Escalona a warm SDCCE welcome!
