I am happy to announce that we have received a very positive evaluation of our 2023-24 WIOA IELCE/IET Career Pathways Report! For each evaluation criterion, agencies can receive an Adequate or Inadequate mark; we received Adequate marks for all criteria in all pathways. The evaluator's comments for specific pathways included praise on collaboration, program growth, well-developed learning objectives, and more! Thank you to Dr. Kwiatkowski and all involved who have helped make this happen for our college!
Single Sign-On launches in July! Starting July 15, students will need a student.sdccd.edu email to access communications and log into important learning portals such as Canvas. Personal emails and student IDs will NO LONGER be applicable. If students need assistance setting up their student email, have them follow the step-by-step guide or find an email support appointment at one of our campuses here. Reflecting on the Juneteenth Celebration, held at the Educational Cultural Complex on June 20th, we ask all who attended to take a moment to provide feedback by clicking on the link below and participate in a survey on the event. Your feedback on this survey will help the SDCCE Cultural Events Committee plan a better program next year. Take the Juneteenth Program Survey here.
We’re making enrollment for the fall semester easy through Enroll Fest events at our campuses. The full schedule can be found in the flyer to the right.

Thank you to our Counselor/LGBTQ+ Student Success Coordinator Dr. Lisa Carulli for highlighting impactful LGBTQ+ icons in your email series in celebration of Pride Month! The latest icon to be featured is Judy Shepard, the mother of Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old student at the University of Wyoming who was murdered in October 1998 in what became one of the most high-profile cases highlighting hate crimes against LGBTQ+ people. In the wake of her son's death, Judy Shepard channeled her grief into activism, becoming a powerful voice for LGBTQ+ rights and hate crime legislation.
