Dear SDCCE Community,

Thank you to everyone who brought their vibrant energy, love, and support at the San Diego Pride Parade this weekend! What an incredible time marching with the San Diego Community College District in celebration and appreciation of our San Diego LGBTQ+ community.

I enjoyed walking with my daugther in the parade and I enjoyed our new swag!! SDCCE Pride!

A special shoutout to our amazing outreach team, district colleagues, volunteers, sponsors, and local organizations who worked tirelessly to make this event a success. Until next year!

President's Updates

UC Davis Wheelhouse cohort

I thoroughly enjoyed spending a week with the UC Davis Wheelhouse: Center for Community College Leadership & Research Cohort 7. Every activity, assignment, reading exercise, and conversation was an incredible learning experience. It's an honor to be a part of this cohort! I plan to bring back all of the material to our college!

The Research Corner

This week, we invite you to check Immigrants in California from the Public Institute of California webpage. This site has different research articles about immigration in California highlighting its trends and the important issues affecting this important group in our state.
