Dear SDCCE Community,

I am pleased to report Ms. Desiree (Dee Dee) Redulla has accepted the Acting position of SDCCE's Executive Assistant to the Office of the President.

Ms. Redullla has been employed by the San Diego Community College District since 2014 when she was first hired to work for San Diego Mesa College's Disability Support Programs and Services. Most recently and for the past five years, Dee Dee has served SDCCE's Office of Student Services as an Administrative Technician specifically supporting the complex and specialized duties of providing assistance to the Vice President of Student Services.

Dee Dee has over 30 years of administrative experience, with a decade of directly-related experience in community colleges.

As SDCCE's Acting Executive Assistant to the Office of the President, Ms. Redulla will act as a liaison between President and students, campus leadership, faculty, and classified professionals. She will also oversee the day-to-day operations of the President's Office and prepare reports and presentations on behalf of the President. Her operational knowledge and expertise will be critical support for fall Convocation.

Applications for the permanent Executive Assistant to the Office of the President are being accepted until August 15, 2022. Please join me in welcoming Dee Dee to the President's office where she will serve in this Acting role until a permanent position is hired.
