Congratulations, San Diego College of Continuing Education:
Last week the Board of Trustees approved our Institutional Strategic Master Plan (ISMP) and our Institutional Strategic Plan (ISP). The development of these plans were led by our Dean of Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness, Jessica Luedtke, with the support from the Planning and Institutional Effectiveness (PIE) Committee and the Office of Planning, Research and Institutional Effectiveness (PRIE). The development of the ISMP and the ISP occurred over 15 months with valuable input collected from all of our constituent groups at the college, including our student body. Well-done!
Strategic planning is a critical component of the integrated planning cycle and sets priorities for addressing areas of critical importance to the institution. The Strategic Master Plan establishes a seven-year strategic planning direction for San Diego College of Continuing Education (SDCCE). The institutional goals and objectives included in the ISP guide the development of specific actions SDCCE intends to take to achieve the institution’s goal and objectives from the institutional level to the department/program level.
Please review the ISMP thoroughly as this document will be our guide over the next several years. Annually, I will be providing updates at our convocation on the outcomes identified in our ISMP.
I am very excited about our Institutional Strategic Master Plan (ISMP). Our administration will be focused on working to move these goals forward to support our student enrollment and community needs.
I look forward to you joining me on the journey to execute our goals!
