It was an honor to welcome the community and our esteemed elected officials to our college.

Congratulations Desiree “DeeDee” Redulla, Rocio Lopez, Carmen Martinez, and Maria Macias, for being selected for and graduated from the Fall 2023 Supervisory Leadership Development Academy. The Professional Development Program provides participants with the tools and professional development that can be applied in current classification, and assists with career advancement goals and opportunities.

I enjoyed leading a tour of SDCCE's Mid City Campus with SDCCD Board of Trustee, Bernie Rhinerson, and SDCCD Director of Communications, Jack Beresford on December 8.

I attended the Common Ground Theatre production of the Nativity: A Soulful Celebration. It is always wonderful to see our theatre being used to showcase the great talent here in Southeast San Diego.
