Rosa Chagolla

Rosa Chagolla

My name is Rosa Chagolla. I am from Mexico. I lived in a small village. I only went to school to 9th grade. I came to the U.S. in 1991. My children were born in San Diego. We decided to come here, so we could have a better life.

I attend CBET classes at Chollas Elementary school, so I can learn more English. One day I would like to obtain my G.E.D. In my CBET class I am learning how to speak, read and write in English. We do tutoring twice a month. This program helps the parents read to their children. My other goal is one day to become a U.S. citizen.
