The Marketplace

One-stop shopping for snacks, food, hygiene products and more! The Market Place is open to all SDCCE students.

Title IX

If you have experienced sex or gender based offenses, including an incident of dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking, you have the option to report this to law enforcement, the District, to both, or to neither. Campus Safety Escorts

The Market Place

Visit the Market Place Monday through Friday for no-cost food and hygiene products. The Market Place is open to all currently enrolled SDCCE students.

Be Well CCE

Our SDCCE Mental Health Specialist provides mental health services, student support groups, and referrals to community providers. For more information, please contact your Basic Needs Coordinator.

CalWORKs

CalWORKs at SDCCE assists students in achieving self-sufficiency through education and career training opportunities. Students who are actively receiving CalWORKs benefits are eligible to enroll in SDCCE’s program. Support services include academic and career counseling, work readiness and career planning, paid work study opportunities, and assistance with reimbursement requests for education and work study costs (course supplies, mileage, textbooks, uniforms, transportation, testing fees, etc.). CalWORKs services are available for eligible students enrolled at SDCCE.

Disability Support Programs and Services (DSPS)

Disability Support Programs and Services (DSPS) assists SDCCE to meet the requirements of federal laws (Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act) and SDCCD policy by ensuring access to equal educational opportunities. Academic adjustments and modifications are determined for each student by an interactive process with a DSPS counselor. The DSPS mission is to offer a variety of classes and services designed to facilitate the success of students with disabilities in reaching their educational, personal, and vocational goals.

Gateway to College and Career

Gateway to College and Career is a program for immigrants, refugee, and/or English Learner students who are 18-24 years of age. It supports eligible students by building pathways to earn a high school equivalency/diploma; connections to employment and internship opportunities; an apprenticeship readiness program, and transition to college. PATHWAYS Program

PATHWAYS is a retention model program creating educational communities that provide intensive case management and direct services to support homeless students on their pathway to completion of academic courses and/or job training, a new career, and/or transition to the credit college. PATHWAYS focuses on the student’s journey by breaking down barriers to access, retention, and completion, by empowering students to drive their success and possibilities for achieving their education, career goals and reaching self- sufficiency.
