COMMUNICATION SKILLS WORKSHOP

This workshop will enable students to better understand the differences between the language, culture and customs of the United States and those of other countries. Special emphasis will be placed on those areas which may affect classroom or work performance and inhibit effective communication. Students taking this workshop will learn useful phrases in several languages and to identify the major differences between these languages and English.
