We are growing! The Counseling Department, over the past year, has made a concerted effort to expand the number of counselors. We have grown to a robust 14 contract (full-time), and 10 adjunct (part-time) counselors who provide services at 7 different sites. The great news is that CE is scheduled to receive increased funding this year to implement the new CA Community College Student Success and Support Program Plan (SSSP) mandates. As a condition of receiving this additional funding, we are required to provide expanded Orientations, Assessments, Educational Plans, Counseling and Follow-Up services. Over the next year, the Counseling Department will continue to grow! It is an exciting time for CE!
