Beginning November 7th, Juanita Ledesma, counseling faculty joined the SDCE ERP team at the district office full-time. Juanita will be instrumental in assisting to build key features used by counselors when working with students. She joins three other counselors from City, Mesa, and Miramar who are also helping build automated education plans. Juanita, in conjunction with adjunct counselor, Marcia Grant, provide career counseling to our students. Therefore, in order to minimize the impact of her absence, we have hired another adjunct counselor to support career services. The new person is scheduled to begin in December at which time we will introduce her to the SDCE community. Our most sincere thanks to Juanita for stepping up to assist with this important endeavor.
